Location - Paphos, Tala
The village of Stefanie and the larger neighbouring village of Tala are located approximately 8km north of Paphos, set on a west facing hillside overlooking the calm blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The panoramic view, the favourable climate and the simplicity of the landscape are the main characteristics that led to the development of tourism. The area is well known for its cooling summer breezes and as it is situated on higher ground benefits from less humid air in the hot summer months.
Stefanie village amenities include a small grocery store, a kiosk, a pharmacy and a restaurant, all of which are within 300 metres of the villa. The focal point of neighbouring Tala Village, less than a kilometre away, is the delightful square which has a small selection of restaurants, friendly tavernas and traditional pavement side coffee shops serving everything from meze style meals to local speciality dishes and international cuisines.
Standing proudly in the hills above the village is the imposing 12th Century Monastery of Saint Neophytos. On a site commanding fantastic views of the Mediterranean coast it is easy to imagine the beauty and isolation of this location which a thousand years ago enticed an extraordinary, self-taught, hermit called Neophytos to settle there. Of particular interest to the visitor is the cave with the cell of Saint Neophytos, an enclosure carved out of the mountain by the hermit. The rock-table and the stone platform on which he slept are still preserved as are some of the finest Byzantine frescoes dating from the 12th to the 15th century thought to be the work of the Saint and his followers.
The village is situated conveniently close to the Minthis Hills Golf Course at Tsada. This course designed by Donald Steel was the first grass course to be built in Cyprus. The newly enhanced course completed by the designers Mackenzie and Ebert, re-opened in June 2007. With its elevated position 550 metres above sea level, it plays to a par 72 and measures 6,060 metres. Practice facilities include a driving range, two putting greens, a pitching/chipping area and practice bunkers.
Tala is only a 10 minute drive from Coral Bay, the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area know locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.
Paphos Town once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff is the main administrative centre and residential district while Kato Pafos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbour and medieval port.
Exploring Coral Bay, Paphos and everywhere in between, increases the list of available activities and attractions to include mini golf, watersports, go-karting, horse riding, a snooker hall, bowling alley, heritage sites, modern shopping facilities, a waterpark and the Paphos Bird and Animal Park.

| We thought that the villa and it location in Stephanie Village and close to Tala square was excellent. It was typical of the type of holiday that we would choose as we do not like the all-inclusive hotel type of holiday. We found the Stephanie restaurant and the Casa Luna restaurant to be excellent in terms of quality of food and value for money. We would love to visit Cyprus again and will definitely book through your company. | |

| We were very impressed after seeing the comprehensive information for Villa Stephanie on the Villa Group website but in reallity, this did not do the villa justice. Both the Villa and area were stunning and having two excellent Taverna’s and all of the local shops within 150 metres was a bonus. All added up to make a really chilled out magical holiday. | |

| The accommodation was of a good standard, well maintained, comfortable and in a good location. Local information was available in the property. We were extremely satisfied with this booking and the overall service shown. | |

| We had a wonderful holiday. We would certainly recommend Villa Stefanie to our friends and we would also return ourselves! The house was lovely, with all the comforts of home. Lots of extras that made our holiday so much more comfortable than the usual holiday accommodation. Many thanks, we hope to see you again next year. | |

| The reviews on this property really helped me make up my mind when I booked our holiday back in June. From beginning to end we were all very impressed. The property, the service, the beaches, the sun... We felt lucky to have picked the best one among all the others we were considering. All in all, we had an excellent holiday at Villa Stefanie and we can't wait to go back next year! | |

| Sun, glorious sun! The weather was fantastic! Our one week holiday at Villa Stefanie just flew by, but we are already planning to return next year. The house is just lovely! Spacious, comfortable and with a lovely private pool area. The ideal location allowed us to do a bit of everything and even explore the surrounding traditional Cypriot areas. In short, a great holiday! Would definitely recommend it. | |

| The property was clean and had everything needed for our stay. The location was great and driving instructions were spot on. There was a generous welcome pack and the property manager was on hand to show us where everything was and help out if there were any problems. It was also very comfortably furnished with TV, Hi-Fi etc which was all helped to keep the children entertained. The gardens were well tended and the pool area was very private. We would definitely recommend this property and booking through Rent Cyprus Villas.Com. | |

| Accommodation was fine although it did not have any views of the coast which we have enjoyed with other villas. Privacy was excellent. Local assistance from the property managers was very good. | |

| We weren't sure what to expect as this is the first time we have rented a private villa, but we were very impressed. The villa was beautiful, well looked after and had everything home from home. The surrounding area was lovely and quiet, the pools nice and we had a fab few nights at the local taverna. All in all we had a fab time and will definitely be back next year for our annual break!! Thanks to all the staff at Rent Cyprus Villas.Com for all their help and kindness. | |

| We couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay. Online booking was easy and convenient. All my emails were replied to very quickly and a very useful information guide was provided together with accurate driving directions! The property, the area and the service, everything quite simply faultless. We had such a great time! Sure to repeat it again soon. Thank you for everything. | |

| We were very happy with the property and its location. Peter and Connie were very helpful and encouraging when it came to us venturing out for the first time in a hired car. The service we received from Peter and Connie exceeded some of the best hotels. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we are planning a return visit next year. | |

| The property was well located for amenities and was very clean and well looked after. Everything you wanted was made available. On arrival we were welcomed by the property managers who were very helpful. The welcome pack exceeded our expectations and was much appreciated. The secure site was well looked after and surrounding gardens and pool were well cared for. I would definitely recommend the property to other people and will hopefully return for a longer stay in the not too distant future. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity together with a pretty village square which are well worth a visit. | |

| Our short break in Paphos was well worth it! It usually takes us longer to get to London to visit family and friends than it took us to get to Cyprus. Convenience, good value and great service made all the difference. We can't wait to pack our suitcases again, next time for a longer stay! | |
| Mawson | Aug 2006 |
| The overall service we have received has been excellent. The staff in Cyprus were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and if we decide to return to Cyrpus our first port of call would definitely be your website. Thank you very much for helping us to organise a lovely holiday. | |

| We had a wonderful time at this villa. We were on honeymoon and this property made the week very special. It felt like a home not just holiday accomodation. | |

| The internet photos just don't do it justice! From beginning to end the villa was exceptional, regular email contact and even a phone call to ensure that we were all set. Peter and Connie thought of everything to make our stay a comfortable one - just couldn't fault it. Only wish we had stayed longer than a week. Will be back next year as this summer is already quiet booked! Now I understand why! Would recommend it without hesitation. | |
